WAYNE, N.J. – Women’s tennis junior Heidi Busch (Lakehurst, N.J./Manchester Regional) was named the William Paterson Pioneer of the Week Sept. 22.

 

Busch was 2-0 at singles, and 1-1 at doubles, as the Pioneers began their 2008 season with a pair of matches last week. She was a 6-0, 6-0 winner at fourth singles in a 9-0 victory against John Jay Sept. 15, and combined with Kimberly Seabeck for an 8-0 win at second doubles. Busch won 6-3, 6-4 at fifth doubles against Hunter Sept. 19, and fell 6-8 in a hard-fought match at second doubles.
