WAYNE, N.J. – Men’s soccer sophomore forward Julian Valerio (Manalapan, N.J./Manalapan) was named the William Paterson Pioneer of the Week Sept. 1.

 

Valerio had a total of four points as the Pioneers opened their 2008 season with a pair of victories at the Muhlenberg/Moravian Tournament. His goal tied the score at 2-2 on the way to a 3-2 victory at Muhlenberg Aug. 29, and he contributed a pair of assists to a 3-1 win at Moravian Aug. 30.
