WAYNE, N.J. – Men’s basketball senior forward Richy Espinal was named the Feb. 26 William Paterson Pioneer of the Week.
 
Espinal led all players with 26 points and 14 rebounds, adding four assists and three steals as sixth-seeded WP earned a 95-86 upset victory Feb. 21 at second-seeded The College of New Jersey in the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Tournament semifinals. He then paced the Pioneers with 18 points, seven rebounds and four steals during a narrow 67-59 championship-game loss Feb. 24 at top-seeded Ramapo.
