WAYNE, N.J. – Men’s basketball senior forward Richy Espinal (Ridgefield Park, N.J./Ridgefield Park) was named the Feb. 12 William Paterson Pioneer of the Week.

Espinal collected 15 points, six rebounds and a game-best five steals Feb. 7 at The College of New Jersey, then added three steals to his game highs of 26 points, 16 rebounds and three blocked shots during a 68-60 Senior Day victory against Rutgers-Camden Feb. 10.

He is currently tied for the conference lead in steals (2.3 per game) and rates third in rebounding average (8.1) and fourth in scoring average (15.7).
