WAYNE, N.J. – Junior middle hitter Christine Griffith was named the September 25 William Paterson Pioneer of the Week.
 
Griffith had a great week offensively and defensively for the Pioneers, averaging 3.0 kills per set and 5.38 digs per set over four matches. Griffith began the week with a career-best 28 digs in a 3-1 loss to Ramapo in New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) play. After falling to Rutgers-Camden in NJAC play on September 21, Griffith helped lead WP to two wins on September 23. In the day’s first match, the junior recorded a double-double with 10 kills and 20 digs before tallying 14 kills on a .407 hitting percentage against Staten Island.
