WAYNE, N.J. -- Sophomore baseball left-handed pitcher Chris Babb (West Milford, N.J./DePaul Catholic) was selected as the Feb. 27 William Paterson Pioneer of the Week.
 
Babb tossed the final 3.0 innings of a 5-5 season-opening tie against Stevens Feb. 24, a game that was ended after seven innings due to darkness. He was not charged with a hit or run, striking out four and walking two.
