WAYNE, N.J. – Sophomore outside hitter Christine Griffith (Upper Saddle River, N.J./Northern Highlands Regional) was selected as the Oct. 17 William Paterson Pioneer of the Week.
Griffith averaged 2.42 kills, 3.58 digs and 0.83 block per set during four matches last week. She collected a match-high 17 digs Oct. 11 against Farmingdale State, and had six kills, six digs and three block assists Oct. 13 at Montclair State. She led all players with 14 kills and two block solos during a 3-0 victory against Sarah Lawrence Oct. 15, and finished with 14 digs and three total blocks (two solo) in a 3-0 win at Staten Island Oct. 15.
