WAYNE, N.J. – Baseball graduate student third baseman K.C. Abel (Wayne, N.J.//Wayne Valley) was selected as the March 21 William Paterson Pioneer of the Week.
 
Abel hit .481 (13-27) last week in seven starts, collecting five doubles, a home run, 11 RBI and eight runs scored. He went 2-for-4 with a double, homer, five runs-batted-in and two runs scored during a 10-6 victory March 16 against Springfield, and finished 3-for-5 while posting three doubles, two RBI and a pair of runs scored in a 6-4 win March 17 against Endicott.
