WAYNE, N.J. – Men’s swimming and diving sophomore Vojtech Karas (Brno, Czech Republic/Ludvika Danka) was named William Paterson’s Pioneer of the Week for Dec. 3.

Karas had a hand in establishing three new pool records as the Pioneers earned a 106-65 win at Arcadia Dec. 1. He set new marks in the 200 IM (2:05.41) and 50 free (22.31), and was a part of the 200 free relay team that established a new Lenox Pool record with a time of 1:35.44.
