WAYNE, N.J. – Sophomore men’s swimmer Donado Dervishi (Garfield, N.J./Garfield) was named the William Paterson Pioneer of the Week for Feb. 18.

Dervishi touched sixth in the 100 breast B Final (1:00.04) at the Metropolitan Championships Feb. 15-17 after posting a personal-best time in the prelims (59.77), 0.03 second off the WP school record.  He also helped WP finish second in the 400 medley relay B Final (3:39.53), sixth in 200 medley relay B Final (1:40.91), and sixth in the 400 free relay B Final (3:19.17).
