WAYNE, N.J. – Women’s basketball junior forward Asia Johnson (Wildwood, N.J./Wildwood) was named William Paterson’s Pioneer of the Week for Nov. 26.

Johnson was named to the Red Hawk/Pioneer Classic All-Tournament Team after averaging 11.0 points, 13.0 rebounds and four blocked shots in two games. In a 66-62 loss to Union Nov. 24, the 5-11 forward had a double-double with 14 points and a game-high 14 rebounds, adding four blocked shots, in 29 minutes off the bench. Against Arcadia Nov. 25, she posted eight points and four blocked shots, and tied for the game high with 12 rebounds, in a 70-41 victory.
