WAYNE, N.J. – Sophomore football linebacker John Garbowski (Mohegan Lake, N.Y./Lakeland) was named the William Paterson Pioneer of the Week for Sept. 3.

Garbowski had a game-best and career-high 13 tackles during a 9-3 season-opening victory against King’s Sept. 1.  Two of his stops were solo tackles, including 1.0 sack.
