WAYNE, N.J. – Senior golfer Shane Edwards (Newton, N.J./Newton) was named the William Paterson Pioneer of the Week for April 2.

Edwards had the lowest round of the day with an even-par 71 during a 310-345 victory March 28 against Purchase during the Pioneers’ spring opener.  He shot an eight-over 80 to pace WP and finish 10th overall, helping to lead William Paterson to a tie for fifth place at the 18-team Moravian Spring Invitational March 29.
