WAYNE, N.J. – Men’s basketball junior guard Rick DeStefano (Marlboro, N.J./Marlboro) was named the William Paterson Pioneer of the Week for Feb. 13.

DeStefano averaged 15.0 points and 3.0 steals during a pair of wins, shooting 53.3 (8-15) percent from three-point range. He had seven points and four rebounds during a 57-55 victory at Rutgers-Newark Feb. 8, and scored a game-best 23 points on 6-for-10 shooting from three, adding four steals to an 85-79 overtime victory Feb. 11 against New Jersey City.
