WAYNE, N.J. – Men’s basketball freshman guard Jaques Conceicao (Massama-Lisboa, Portugal/Francais Charle Lepierre) was named the William Paterson Pioneer of the Week for Feb. 6.

Conceicao averaged 8.0 points and 6.7 rebounds in three wins last week. He scored 11 points, pulled down a game-high nine rebounds and paced WP with four assists and three steals during an 83-70 victory against Montclair State Feb. 1. Conceicao posted 10 points, eight rebounds and two steals in a 58-55 win at Ramapo Feb. 4, and contributed three rebounds and a pair of assists to an 80-72 victory at Brooklyn Jan. 30.
