WAYNE, N.J. – Volleyball junior libero Michelle Mitchell (Secaucus, N.J./Secaucus) was named the William Paterson Pioneer of the Week for Sept. 12.

Mitchell led WP with 4.33 digs per set during three victories for the Pioneers. She had seven digs in a 3-0 win against Brooklyn Sept. 6, then posted a team-high 15 digs during a 3-0 win against Manhattanville, and a match-best 17 digs during a 3-2 victory against St.-Joseph's-Long Island, Sept. 10.
