WAYNE, N.J. – Men’s golf junior Matt Scozzari (Kinnelon, N.J./Kinnelon) was named the William Paterson Pioneer of the Week for April 18.

Scozzari shot an 80 (+10, tied-ninth overall) to lead the Pioneers at the Rutgers-Camden Invitational April 15 at Pennsauken County Club. He was second overall with a 79 on the par-71 Farmstead Golf and Country Club, helping to lead the newly-formed William Paterson team to its first dual victory in a 319-335 finish against Purchase April 11.
