WAYNE, N.J. – Men’s soccer senior midfielder Julian Valerio (Manalapan, N.J./Manalapan) was named the William Paterson Pioneer of the Week for Nov. 15.

 

Valerio had a goal and an assist for the Pioneers in the NCAA Tournament. He scored the game-tying goal in the 50th minute, and assisted on the game winner in the 62nd minute, of a 2-1 first-round victory against Thomas Nov. 13. That result was the first NCAA Tournament victory in William Paterson men’s soccer history.
