WAYNE, N.J. – Volleyball junior outside hitter Kim Runge (Closter, N.J./Northern Valley Regional-Demarest) was named the William Paterson Pioneer of the Week for Oct. 25.

Runge averaged 4.36 digs and 3.21 digs per set during a 4-0 week for the Pioneers. She tied for the team lead with 16 digs, adding eight kills and three assists during a 3-1 win against Mount Saint Mary Oct. 18, then tied for the team high with 24 digs and led all players with 21 kills during a 3-1 victory at Montclair State Oct. 20. Runge posted four kills and six digs in an easy 3-0 win against York (N.Y.) Oct. 23, and led the Pioneers with 12 kills and 15 digs during a 3-0 victory against Centenary Oct. 23.
