WAYNE, N.J. – Football senior defensive lineman Brian Burd (Roxbury, N.J./Roxbury) was named William Paterson's Male Pioneers of the Week for Sept. 24.

Burd led the Pioneers with nine total tackles (five solo) in William Paterson’s 14-13 loss to FDU-Florham Sept. 22. Burd had 1.5 tackles for loss, and blocked a punt against the Devils. He ranks second overall for WP this season with 17 total tackles, including 3.5 for a loss.
