WAYNE, N.J. – Women’s basketball senior guard Elisa Brown (Norwalk, Conn./Norwalk) was named the William Paterson Pioneer of the Week Jan. 18.

Brown averaged 10.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game as the Pioneers improved to 16-1 overall and 4-1 in New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) play with a pair of league victories. During a 74-36 win against Rutgers-Newark Jan. 13, she posted 12 points, two rebounds and three assists while helping to hold the Scarlet Raiders to a season-low offensive output. Brown then contributed eight points, four rebounds, four assists and two steals to a 77-73 victory against Richard Stockton Jan. 16.
