WAYNE, N.J. – Men’s basketball senior guard Tim Lucas (Old Bridge, N.J./Old Bridge) was named the William Paterson Pioneer of the Week Dec. 21.

Lucas posted 16 points, four assists and three steals during a 70-52 victory against Lehman Dec. 17.  He was 5-for-8 (.625) from the floor, 2-for-3 (.667) from three-point range and 4-for-5 (.800) from the free-throw line against the Lightning.  Lucas currently leads the New Jersey Athletic Conference in steals (2.50 spg) and ranks fifth in assists (3.80 apg).
