WAYNE, N.J. – Men’s basketball senior forward Abdoulaye Ouedraogo (Newark, N.J./Newark Science) was named the William Paterson Pioneer of the Week Dec. 7.

Ouedraogo averaged 14.0 points, 9.0 rebounds and 3.5 blocks per game during a 2-0 week in league play for the Pioneers, shooting 75.0 (12-16) percent from the floor.  He posted nine points, a team-best nine rebounds and a game-high six blocked shots during a 61-58 victory at Ramapo Dec. 2, blocking the potential game-tying shot during the final five seconds.  Ouedraogo then poured in a game-high 19 points on 9-for-10 shooting, adding a game-best nine rebounds, in a 78-46 win against The College of New Jersey Dec. 5.
