Former Pioneer Mike Santana is in his 11th season as William Paterson’s pitching coach in 2025, and his second as the program's Associate Head Coach.
Santana was previously at Bergen Catholic High School where he served one season as the head junior varsity coach. Before Bergen Catholic, he spent five years as the pitching coach at Paramus High School (2008-13) where he won two state championships (2009, 2011). Santana is currently in his 10th year as a head coach and pitching instructor at Teel’s Baseball Academy.
Santana played for William Paterson (2004-07) and compiled 10 career wins. He graduated from WP with a bachelor’s degree in sociology and criminal justice in 2009.
