Jake Lutz ’25 joined the William Paterson baseball staff as an assistant coach for the 2025 campaign.
Throughout his three-year playing career with the Pioneers from 2022-24, he compiled a .310 batting average, .431 on-base percentage and .462 slugging percentage with 139 hits, 28 doubles, five triples, 10 home runs, 101 runs scored and 98 RBI.
The River Vale, N.J., native was a two-time all-conference honoree (2022, 2024) and was named to the ABCA/Rawlings All-Region Third Team following his first season with the program in 2022.
Lutz was additionally a two-time College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District and Academic All-New Jersey Athletic Conference honoree.
