William Paterson University Athletics

Former Pioneer Demetrius Gresham ’23 joined the William Paterson football staff as an assistant coach in August of 2025 and will be working primarily with the cornerbacks.

Prior to returning to WP, he spent time as an assistant football coach at Somerville H.S.

Before entering the coaching ranks, he played two seasons with the Pioneers, appearing in 18 games.

Gresham graduated from WP in 2023 with a bachelor’s in sport management.
