Colin Lombardo ’22, ’23 MS joined the Pioneers in September 2025 as an assistant baseball coach.
Lombardo enjoyed a successful four-year playing career with the Pioneers, earning all-conference, all-region and all-America laurels.
He played a pivotal role on the 2022 team that secured the program’s 13th New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Tournament title, and first since 1997, en route to earning an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
Lombardo sits first all-time in program history in hit by pitches (55), third in runs scored (184), tied for sixth in triples (12) and 11th in batting average (.395). He additionally remains first (77) and tied for third in runs scored (68), first (32) and third (17) in hit by pitches, fourth in batting average (.449), tied for eighth in walks (37) and tied for ninth in triples (6) on the Pioneer single-season list.
He graduated from William Paterson in 2022 with a bachelor’s in sport management before earning his master’s in sports administration in 2023.
