Bruce Chamberlain

Bruce Chamberlain joined the William Paterson golf staff as an assistant coach for the 2022-23 season, and after two years in that role he took over as the Pioneers' head coach in the fall of 2024.
 
Chamberlain played four years of golf for the Montclair State College teams (1976-79), serving as captain and earning all-conference status his senior year.
 
After a 25-year run in business with local companies including Hewlett-Packard, Ricoh and Quest Diagnostics, Chamberlain left to pursue a new career in education, as well as create and operate a junior golf camp. He taught mathematics and a gifted and talented program in the Morris School District for 17 years, retiring in 2020. Hundreds of junior golfers received instruction and played in tournaments at the Glenwild Greens Golf Course in Bloomingdale from 2003-12.
 
He and his wife Jeannie reside in Woodland Park and have two children, Michael and Lauren, and five grandchildren. Chamberlain earned a bachelor's in mathematics/computer science at Montclair State.
