    Volunteer Assistant Women's Soccer Coach
After three years spent minding the Pioneers’ net, Meaghan Baker will serve as a volunteer assistant coach during the 2011 season. Baker worked with the program as an undergraduate assistant coach last fall.

Baker posted a 1.19 goals-against average and a .729 save percentage in 56 career matches, starting 47 times from 2007-09. Her 167 saves and 13 shutouts rank third on the William Paterson career charts, and she had her best numbers as a senior with a 0.90 GAA, .770 save percentage and six blank sheets.

Baker transferred to William Paterson after playing as a freshman at Kean University in the fall of 2006. A standout scholastically at Morris Knolls High School, the Rockaway, N.J., native completed a bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology at William Paterson in 2011. She currently is a physical education teacher at Roxbury Elementary School.
