William Paterson University Athletics

After three years playing for the Pioneer men’s team, Dante Petrocelli joined the William Paterson women’s soccer staff as a volunteer assistant coach for the 2018 season.
 
A starter in 35 of 55 matches after transferring from County College of Morris, Petrocelli (2015-17) registered 10 goals and five assists at WP while helping to lead the team to a berth in the 2017 New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Tournament and spots in the ECAC Tournament semifinals (2016) and quarterfinals (2017).
 
The Succasunna, N.J., native won a county championship at Roxbury High School during his senior season, and he competed with the Jersey Blues club team for one season, compiling nine goals and 12 assists. Petrocelli is currently completing a bachelor’s degree in sport management at William Paterson.
