William Paterson University Athletics

Former Pioneer Nicolai Robinson joined the William Paterson staff as a volunteer assistant men’s and women’s swimming coach for the 2016-17 campaign.
 
Robinson competed for four seasons for the Pioneers (2012-16) and was a key member of WP’s relay teams at the Metropolitan Championships. As a senior, he helped WP finish eighth in the 800 free relay (7:25.40), second in the 400 medley relay B Final (3:40.06), third in the 200 free relay B Final (1:28.82), fourth in the 200 medley relay B Final (1:41.35) and 12th in the 400 free relay (3:19.34).
 
A native of Matawan, Robinson helped break the 800 and 1,600 free relay records as a senior  captain at Old Bridge High school. He completed a bachelor’s in communication at William Paterson in 2016.
