William Paterson University Athletics

After competing for the Pioneers for four seasons, Kirsten Shea is in her third season as a William Paterson swimming and diving assistant coach during the 2014-15 season.

Shea swam for the Pioneers from 2007-08 through 2010-11, competing in the 1,650 free, 400 IM and 200 fly at the Metropolitan Championships.

A native of Turnersville, Shea completed a bachelor’s degree in women’s and gender studies at William Paterson in 2012, and received a master’s in child advocacy at Montclair State in 2014. Her younger sister, Brianna, swam for the Pioneers (2010-14).
