William Paterson University Athletics

After serving as the program’s undergraduate assistant coach during the 2007-08 season, Angel Camacho is in his 18th season as William Paterson’s assistant men’s and women’s swimming coach during the 2024-25 campaign.

A four-year member of the Pioneer program, Camacho swam the freestyle and butterfly at William Paterson. As a senior during the 2006-07 campaign, he competed in the 200, 500 and 1,000 frees, as well as the 100 and 200 flies.

A native of Parsippany, he completed a bachelor’s degree in business management at William Paterson in 2008.
