Former Pioneer Timothy Morris joined the William Paterson men’s soccer staff as an assistant coach for the 2018 season.
Morris started 10 of 11 appearances in goal during the 2017 campaign, registering a 1.73 goals-against average, .707 save percentage and one shutout after transferring from Rockland Community College. A 2012 graduate of Albertus Magnus High School, he earned honorable-mention all-state and all-section accolades while advancing to the sectional final as a senior. Also a letterwinner in baseball, basketball and indoor track and field, Morris competed at the club level with Ramapo Valley SC, reaching the U17 State Cup final.
The JV head coach at Albertus Magnus (2013-16), he also led the U12 girls and U15 and U17 boys for Ramapo Valley Soccer Club (2014-16), advancing to the U15 State Cup final.
Morris is completing a bachelor’s degree in physical education at WP.
