Raffaele Lauretta is in his fifth season as a William Paterson men’s soccer assistant coach in 2013.
Lauretta is familiar with the challenges associated with playing in the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) as a four-year member of the Ramapo College men’s soccer team (2004-07). A Dean’s List student and a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, he started in 19 matches as a senior captain, while as a junior he started in 13 of 20 matches.
A standout scholastically at Don Bosco Prep, he also played with the New Jersey Stallions. Lauretta has coached with the PASCO club teams, winning several state and regional titles, while also assisting with the U-17 Women’s National Team.
A native of Saddle Brook, he earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Ramapo in 2008.
