Former Pioneer Oscar Castillo began serving as a William Paterson Assistant Coach for the 2022 season.
A standout midfielder, Castillo (2016-17) helped his team capture an ECAC Championship in 2017, starting all 20 matches.
He has worked with top local club TSF Academy for five years, assisting with the MLS Next teams. A native of Paterson, he holds a USSF D license and will be actively involved in the Pioneers' recruiting efforts. He is pursuing a bachelor's in sport management at WP.
