William Paterson University Athletics

Former Pioneer Matt Nigro joined the William Paterson men’s soccer staff as an undergraduate assistant coach for the 2014 season and now serves as a 2015 assistant coach.
 
Nigro (2010-13) was named to the 2013 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-South Atlantic Region Third Team, ECAC All-Metro Region First Team and All-New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) First Team, leading the team with seven assists and 21 points while scoring seven goals for WP. The Morganville native had 10 goals and 14 assists in 81 career appearances (64 starts).
 
Nigro is working towards completion of a bachelor’s degree in exercise science at WP, and currently plays in the American Soccer League (ASL) for ICON FC.
