William Paterson University Athletics

Joins the William Paterson golf team after competing for four seasons as a Pioneer swimmer.

2010-11: Helped the Pioneers finish ninth in the 800 free relay ninth (7:30.34), fifth in the 400 free relay B Final (3:21.77) and sixth in the 200 free relay B Final (1:31.10) at the 2011 Metropolitan Championships (2/18-20/11) ... Had a season-best time of 53.60 in the 100 free, 2:17.44 in the 200 IM and 1:06.34 in the 100 breast at No. 11 The College of New Jersey (1/23/11) ... Touched second in the 200 free (2:00.64) against FDU-Florham (12/9/10) ... Helped the 200 free relay team win in a time of 1:37.29 against Marywood (11/17/10) ... Was a part of the 200 medley relay team that won in a time of 1:47.61 against Division I NJIT (11/9/10) ... Was third in the 200 free (2:00.47) at Purchase (11/1/10).

2009-10: Had a season-best time of 1:03.28 in the 100 IM (at Mount Saint Mary Invitational, 10/31/09) … Posted efforts of 2:11.62 in the 200 IM, 23.36 in the 50 free, 52.26 in the 100 free and 1:55.11 in the 200 free at the Metropolitan Championships (2/19-21/10).

2008-09: Had a time of 2:16.45 in the 200 IM at the Metropolitan Championships (2/20-22/09) … Posted season-best times of 33.81 in the 50 breast (at Mount Saint Mary Invitational, 11/1/08), 1:09.55 in the 100 breast (at Mets) and 2:32.97 in the 200 breast (at Mets).

2007-08: Finished sixth in the 200 breaststroke C Final (2:39.00) as a freshman at the Metropolitan Championships (2/22-24/08) … Placed third for the Pioneers in the 50 breast (35.12) at the Mount Saint Mary Invitational (10/28/07), and had his best time of the year in the 100 breast (1:09.80) against Montclair State (2/9/08).

Prior to William Paterson: Helped lead his Jefferson Twp. H.S. team to a 5-3 record and a bid to the state championships as a senior in 2007 … Won the Most Improved Swimmer Award in 2006.

Personal/Academics: His mother, Alice, attended William Paterson … A member of the 2008-09 All-NJAC Academic Honorable Mention Team … Majoring in history and business administration.
