Running backs coach Frank Marino is new to the William Paterson staff in 2007, but he is no stranger to coaching on the college level.
The former defensive coordinator (1974-77) and head coach (1977-80, 1985) at Ramapo College, Marino previously served as an assistant coach at Columbia University (1982-84), Fordham University (1986-91) and New Jersey City University (2000-01). This marks his second stint on the Pioneer staff, as he served as the William Paterson running backs coach during the 1981 campaign.
In addition, Marino also possesses a wealth of high school experience, most recently coaching at Passaic (1998-99, 2005-06), Bloomfield (1993-97, 2000-04) and St. Mary’s (2002-03).
A graduate of New Hampshire College, Marino earned a master’s from Springfield College. He and his wife, Diana, reside in Norwood and are the parents of two grown children.
