William Paterson University Athletics

Former Pioneer Felicia Wetzel is in her first season as a William Paterson field hockey assistant coach in 2016.
 
A member of the 2014 and 2015 All-New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) First Teams, Wetzel (2012-15) started 67 of 75 career games, collecting 17 goals and 21 assists (tied-second at WP) for 55 points (ninth at WP). She started all 20 contests as a senior and led the team in assists (six) while ranking second in goals (six) and points (18), securing a spot on the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) All-South Atlantic Region Second Team.
 
A three-time Dean’s List student and a member of the 2012 and 2014 NFHCA National Academic Squads, the Point Pleasant, N.J., native is finishing degrees in sociology and criminology and criminal justice at William Paterson.
