William Paterson University Athletics

Former Pioneer Courtnaey Chelf is in her first season as a William Paterson field hockey assistant coach in 2015.
 
Chelf was named to the 2014 All-New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Honorable Mention after leading WP with six goals and 17 points, starting all 18 contests as a senior. Tied for the team high with five assists, she also tied for fifth in the league statistics with three defensive saves during her final campaign, and finished her career tied for fourth in assists (17) on the WP charts.
 
The communication and psychology major was inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma, the national student-athlete honor society, and was selected to the 2012, 2013 and 2014 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) National Academic Squads, the 2012-13 and 2013-14 NJAC All-Academic Honorable Mentions and the 2014-15 NJAC All-Academic First Team. A seven-time Dean's List student, Chelf is an Army ROTC cadet.
 
Chelf was a first-team all-conference pick as a junior and senior at Triton Regional High School in Blackwood.
