Construction-Related Access Changes – Pioneer Soccer Park & Sports and Recreation Center
William Paterson Sports Information
Due to ongoing construction adjacent to William Paterson’s Sports and Recreation Center, the following parking and entry changes are in effect until further notice.
Pioneer Soccer Park Parking and Entry
Those wishing to park in Lot 6 for events at Pioneer Soccer Park must park in one of the upper levels, then walk downhill along the construction fence on the outer aisle of the parking lot, around the east side of the Sports and Recreation Center, continue along the back of the building, and enter Pioneer Soccer Park from the north entry gate. Restrooms remain available inside the Sports and Recreation Center.
Sports and Recreation Center Parking and Entry
Entry into the Sports and Recreation Center must be made from the south side of the building (opposite side of Lot 6). Park in one of the upper levels of Lot 6, then walk downhill along the construction fence on the outer aisle of the parking lot, around the east side of the Sports and Recreation Center, continue along the back of the building, and enter via the staircase to your right.
Accessible Parking
Limited handicapped parking spaces are available (valid handicapped hang-tag or license plate required) for those attending events at the Sports and Recreation Center and Pioneer Soccer Park. These spaces are located in the small surface lot adjacent to the east end of the Sports and Recreation Center. To enter, drive to the end of any row in Lot 6, then turn right and proceed down the hill to enter the surface lot. Unauthorized vehicles parked in these spots, or in the spots reserved for Recreation Staff, are subject to fine and/or tow.
Accessible Entry to Sports and Recreation Center
A temporary access point has been created for the Sports and Recreation Center. After parking in one of the designated handicapped parking spots, proceed along the edge of the building on the side undergoing construction until you come to a door with a doorbell. Press the doorbell, and a member of the building staff will come to allow you access.
