DELHI, N.Y. - The William Paterson women's swimming and diving team (8-2) secured its eighth consecutive win with a dominant 256–39 road victory over SUNY Delhi (0-4) on Jan 17.

TOP PERFORMERS:

• Sophomore Sarah Churchill (Washington Twp., N.J./Westwood) posted first-place finishes in the 1000 free (13:25.75), 50 free (30.47), and 100 back (1:22.67).
• Sophomore Cassandra Ashworth (Totowa, N.J./Homeschool) triumphed in the 200 free (2:53.63) and 50 fly (42.05).
• Senior Sarah Gomez (Paterson, N.J./Passaic County Tech) was victorious in the 100 fly (1:06.21), 100 breast (1:17.34) and 100 IM (1:08.14).
• Sophomore Katelyn Antonoff (Hillsborough, N.J./Hillsborough) finished first in the 50 back (33.47) and 500 free (5:56.66).
• Sophomore Frances Gomes (Kearny, N.J./Kearny) touched the wall first in the 50 breast (38.31) and 100 free (1:07.78).
• The Pioneers placed first in the 200 medley relay, with efforts from Antonoff, Gomes, Gomez, and Ashworth, finishing with a time of 2:18.57.
• WP won the 200 freestyle relay, with efforts from Gomes, Antonoff, Churchill, and Ashworth, finishing with a time of 2:08.71.
