Women's Swimming and Diving Clinches Road Victory Over Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, N.Y. - The William Paterson women's swimming and diving team (6-2) clinched a road victory over Brooklyn College (1-6), 144-69, on Dec. 6.
TOP PERFORMERS:
  • Sophomore Katelyn Antonoff (Hillsborough, N.J./Hillsborough) led the Pioneers with first-place finishes in the 1650 free (19:35.32), 200 IM (2:25.02), and 100 back (1:07.43).
  • Freshman Adaya Bourne (Saunders, Sint Maarten/Milton Peters College) touched the wall first in the 100 free (56.12) and 200 free (2:04.55).
  • Freshman Joelle Royster (Silver Spring, Md./Wheaton) placed first in the one meter dive with a score of 178.25.
  • Senior Sarah Gomez (Paterson, N.J./Passaic County Tech) finished first in the 100 fly (1:04.12) and 100 breast (1:13.98).
  • Sophomore Cassandra Ashworth (Totowa, N.J./Homeschool) clinched first-place in the three meter dive with a score of 126.55.
  • Sophomore Sarah Churchill (Washington Twp., N.J./Westwood) was victorious in the 500 free (6:05.42).
  • WP won the 200 free relay, with efforts from Bourne, sophomore Dalisha Romero (Perth Amboy, N.J./Perth Amboy), sophomore Olivia Morrison (Williamstown, N.J./Williamstown), and Churchill, finishing with a time of 1:58.89.
