WAYNE, N.J. – The second-seeded William Paterson men's soccer team (8-8-3, 4-3-2 NJAC) will face off against third-seeded Maritime (8-5-3, 3-5-3 Skyline) Saturday, Nov. 15, in the opening round of the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Tournament at 5:00 p.m. in Madison, N.J.

- Tickets will be on sale (CASH ONLY) at the gate of Robert T. Shields Field one hour prior to game times.
- Ticket prices are $5.00 for adults; $3.00 for seniors (65+) and students with a valid school ID. Tickets are free for children under six years of age.

WHAT'S AT STAKE
- The winner of the first round matchup between William Paterson and Maritime will square off against host FDU-Florham, Sunday, Nov. 16, at 1:00 p.m. in the Pod 4 quarterfinals. The winner will advance to play the winner of Pod 1 in the semifinals on Saturday, Nov. 22, with the site and time to be determined. The ECAC Championship will then be held on Sunday, Nov. 23, at a time and place yet to be determined.
WP IN THE ECAC TOURNAMENT
- The Pioneers are making their 19th appearance in the ECAC Tournament (1972, 1974, 1977, 1978, 1981, 1982, 1984, 1991, 1995, 2002, 2008, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2024, 2025) and have secured the title four times (1974, 1977, 1984, 2008).
- The ECAC Tournament was played in a regional format prior to 2016.
SCOUTING THE PIONEERS
- William Paterson went 8-7-3 overall and 4-3-2 in NJAC play, earning the sixth seed in the conference tournament before dropping a 1-0 decision at No. 24 Rowan Nov. 1.
- Senior Seydou Camara (Wood-Ridge, N.J./Wood-Ridge) was named to the All-NAJC Honorable Mention and leads the Pioneers with six goals.
- Junior Matty Escobar (Kearny, N.J./Kearny) was an all-conference honoree, tallying five scores and three helpers.
- All-NJAC senior goalkeeper Luca Misko (Bridgewater, N.J./Bridgewater Raritan) has started all 16 games this season, posting an .812 save percentage, 1.01 goals-against average, 69 saves and five shutouts.
SCOUTING THE PRIVATEERS
- Maritime wrapped up its 2025 regular season with an 8-5-3 record while playing to a 3-5-3 mark in Skyline Conference action, falling short of qualifying for the conference tournament
- Sophomore Jeferson Blanco and freshman Carson Sadler are tied for the team lead in goals scored with seven apiece. Sadler added three assists during the season to register a team-high 17 points.
- Senior goalkeeper Augusto Lebron started all 16 matches, compiling 64 saves and a pair of clean sheets.
SCOUTING THE DEVILS
- FDU-Florham finished the regular season with an 11-2-5 overall record and 3-1-3 mark in MAC Freedom play before falling 6-3 at Lebanon Valley in the conference tournament semifinals Nov. 5.
- Senior Diego Trujillo is the Devils' top goal scorer, finding the back of the net 16 times in 19 matches. He additionally has dished out seven assists, which is good for second on the team.
- Junior Genti Dauti is second on the team in goals (5) while ranking first in assists (11).
- Sophomore goalkeeper Victor Ciach owns a .783 save percentage with 94 saves, posting five shutouts in 18 starts in between the pipes.
