Box Score MONTCLAIR, N.J. – The William Paterson field hockey team (2-8, 0-1 NJAC) opened New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) play on the road, falling 4-0 to Montclair State (4-7, 2-0 NJAC) Oct. 8.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Montclair State struck early, scoring three goals in the opening 10 minutes of action.
• The Red Hawks tacked on another goal in the 18th minute to extend the advantage to 4-0.
