Men's Soccer Edged 2-1 By Rutgers-Camden

WAYNE, N.J.  – The William Paterson men's soccer team (7-6-3, 3-2-2 NJAC was edged at home by Rutgers-Camden, (6-6-3, 3-2-1 NJAC), 2-1, in NJAC (New Jersey Athletic Conference) play on Oct. 22.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • Rutgers-Camden opened the scoring with goals in the 26th and 44th minutes to carry a 2-0 lead into halftime.
  • In the 73rd minute, senior Seydou Camara (Wood-Ridge, N.J./Wood-Ridge) scored, connecting on a pass from senior Jimmy Bruno (Manalapan, N.J./Manalapan) to trim the deficit to 2-1.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
  • Camara tallied his fourth goal of the season.
  • Bruno added his second assist of the year.
