FLANDERS, N.J. – The William Paterson golf team (1-2) came up short against FDU-Florham (2-0) and Yeshiva (1-2) during a tri-match April 11 at the par-72, 6,765-yard Flanders Valley Golf Course Blue/White.
 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• Senior Vincent Limone (Little Ferry, N.J./Ridgefield Park) matched his career low with an 83 (+11, tied-second).
• Senior Nicholas Bucci (Piscataway, N.J./Piscataway) carded his best career round with a 13-over 85 (tied-fourth).
• Senior Anthony Slekis (Fairfield, N.J./West Essex) shot an 87 (+15, tied-ninth), sophomore Gavin Deeken (Waldwick, N.J./Waldwick) had a 90 (+18, 12th) and sophomore Lorenzo Assante (Montville, N.J./Montville Twp.) finished with a 92 (+20, 13th).
• WP posted a team total of 345 (+57), behind FDU-Florham (334, +46) and Yeshiva (340, +52). The Devils' Aidan Newman had a one-over round of 73 to finish as the low individual.
