WAYNE, N.J. – The William Paterson women's swimming and diving team (7-3) extend their winning streak to five with an 102-76 victory over Brooklyn College (6-4) on Dec. 7 at Wightman Pool.

TOP PERFORMERS:
  • Freshman Skylar Coleman (Fair Lawn, N.J./Fair Lawn) triumphed in the 1000 free (13:00.84).
  • Freshman Katelyn Antonoff (Hillsborough, N.J./Hillsborough) touched the wall first in the 200 free (2:12.07).
  • Senior Samantha Pricken (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Valley) posted a first place finish in the 50 free (27.32).
  • Junior Sarah Gomez (Paterson, N.J./Passaic County Tech) claimed victory in the 100 free (56.71) 200 IM (2:23.73).
  • Freshman Olivia Morrison (Williamstown, N.J./Williamstown) won the 1 meter dive, finishing with a score of 163.60.
  • WP emerged victorious in the 200 medley relay, with efforts by Pricken, Antonoff, Gomez, and freshman Dalisha Romero (Perth Amboy, N.J./Perth Amboy), finishing with a time of 2:02.09.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
  • Morrison achieved a new personal best in the 1 meter dive (163.60) and posted a personal best in the 50 free (00:30.61).
  • Gomez surpassed her previous record in the 100 free (56.71).
  • Freshman Cassandra Ashworth (Totowa, N.J./Homeschool) recorded a new personal top score in the 1 meter dive (139.60) and shaved time off her 100 fly best (01:39.85).
  • Freshman Frances Gomes (Kearny, N.J./Kearny) posted a personal record in the 200 free (2:28.62).
  • Romero recorded a new personal best in the 100 free (1:05.21).
