Women's Swimming and Diving Defeats Moravian, 88-55

WAYNE, N.J. – The William Paterson women's swimming and diving team (5-2) defeated Moravian (0-2), 88-55, Nov. 8 at Wightman Pool.
 
TOP PERFORMERS:
  • Freshman Skylar Coleman (Fair Lawn, N.J./Fair Lawn) led the Pioneers with victories in the 1000 free (13:08.64) and 100 fly (1:18.57).
  • Freshman Katelyn Antonoff (Hillsborough, N.J./Hillsborough) won the 200 free (2:10.54).
  • Junior Sarah Gomez (Paterson, N.J./Passaic County Tech) touched the wall first in the 200 IM (2:25.79).
  • Freshman Olivia Morrison (Williamstown, N.J./Williamstown) was victorious in the 1 meter dive, finishing with a score of 128.15.
  • WP won the 200 medley relay with efforts by senior Samantha Pricken (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Valley), Antonoff, Gomez, and freshman Dalisha Romero (Perth Amboy, N.J./Perth Amboy), finishing with a time of 2:06.12.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
  • Freshman Sarah Churchill (Washington Twp., N.J./Westwood) secured a personal record in the 1000 free (13:16.58).
  • Freshman Nicole Ross-Morrey (Rahway, N.J./Rahway) shaved time off her 200 free best (02:41.39).
  • Freshman Cassandra Ashworth (Totowa, N.J./Homeschool) posted a personal best in the 1 meter dive with a score of 111.6.
